It's really fantastic, and 20 hours is remarkably speedy for that intricate work. Does that count the time it takes to sort all those little tiny beads by size? That's was one of the issues I had when trying to work with small beads like that, small variations in size could drastically effect the overall look of the piece. My work came out lumpy, and I didn't have the patience to keep at it. Your work always looks so precise.

There's basically only 3 different size beads, if you don't count the big crystals and the one larger size bead of which there is only 3.

If your work is coming out lump it's likely that you're pulling the thread too tight, or using two differnt size beads when they should be the same size.  Generally though it's caused by too much tension in areas and then maybe not so tight in others,

The bezels around the crystals use two different sizes.  First there is a peyote stitch row of size 11 joined in a ring, and then two rows of size 15.  When the thread is pulled snug, the difference in size causes the ring to "cup", which holds the crystal in place without having to use any adhesive.  If it were flat however, it would buckle and be lumpy.

Thank you, I'm glad you like it.
