A hot shower after spending the day up to my chest in 45 degree lake.

Was that dessert or breakfast? biggrin

I like the sea-salt-caramel stuff the candy companies have been selling lately.

backing the Jaguar into the garage upon the first attempt, yes, ours is a side-facing, not street-facing one, as I'm sure I've fussed about it more than once before.  And yes, I'm extremely grateful we have a garage at all.

If there's ever a next time, and I'm purrfectly happy if there isn't, I'd go with the straight drive-in and straight back-out arrangement.

Oh, I think geraniums were the flowering plants Mama and I planted every May (maybe June, this was NJ, remember) close up to Daddy's gravestone at Morristown's Evergreen Cemetery.  If they weren't geraniums, they were something equally colorful and hardy.

Mama and I used to go to Evergreen about twice a month during the late spring through early autumn.  She'd trim and clip and tidy up, while I'd wander down one or another little "road" nearby--always within her sight, mind you--stopping to peek into the few mausoleums that looked like miniature Greek and Roman temples.

At that hour of the summer evening, everything seemed washed in a golden glow.  It was still light enough to stop at the Dairy Queen on the way home, too.

Speaking of liver, I like rumaki--chicken livers wrapped in bacon and broiled.

Both of my Princess's baking.  Yummy stuff   (used to eat chicken livers when I first left home - easy on the budget)

Why settle for a slice? smile

Magnum ice creamsicles!  Ridiculously expensive with only 3 to a box, but not too bad during BOGO deals.  Plus, they're so rich and so good that one is exactly the right size for a nightly treat.
