Which show and which character?

I'm going with Jack Stiles in Jack of all Trades.

Sorry about the three guys commenting. This is the only version of the intro I could find that wasn't blocked by NBC/Universal.

Well, assuming that I have to choose, I would go with Pa Ingalls.

In real life I suspect that Ma would have said frame up you silly looking bastard. We have spent a lifetime running back and forth across the praries while you screw up one homestead after another. We lived in a little house in the Big Wood for Christ's sake. Surely you could have cut down a few extra trees and extended the house a bit and when you took a break maybe you could have read a book or two on farming. God knows you could do with some help because we never seem to get a half decent crop. And how can the girls bring their fellows how if we are all living like a bunch of prairie Pikkies?

Certainly that would be Madam's line, but Ma Ingalls is such a doe eyed dope that Charlie gets away with blue murder. And I would like to be able to play the fiddle.

I was going to say Maggie O'Connell from Northern Exposure, but at my age, I'll go with Ruth-Anne Miller.

The moment I post a character, I'll no doubt think of another one, but for now I'll say Hyacinth Bucket. biggrin

Don Draper in "Mad Men"...if he really did come up with the "I'd like to buy the world a Coke" ad in 1971, he became incredibly wealthy, probably even richer than Orangy Boy. And he would have not only gone on to even more famous ad campaigns in the Seventies and Eighties, but he'd have been wealthy enough to own a whole block of Manhattan real estate, an island in the Keys, and half of northern Vermont.

Of course, if Donnie were still breathing, he'd be 92 right now, and probably not enjoying his life very much. But since he smoked like a chimney, he'd have probably died years ago. Hope he lived long enough to see Obama elected.

Are we limited to gender? If not, I'd most certainly be Spock.
