Stopped in Evening Shade while on a road trip through Arkansas in August of 2000. Too damn hot to stay long, had to be about a hundred degrees.
Bought a black hat with the town's name on it. Fell apart when it was washed. Wasn't Ann Wedgeworth on that show? She was no kid, but WHATTA FOX!

Apparently she was, playing Merleen Eldridge, but as beautiful as her photos show her to be, I can't remember her at all.

As time goes by, my memories of the t.v. shows I watched grow dimmer, but I'm all right with that.
