RE: The Spaghetti Nebula.

Wow and wow again. Say Cap't this reminds me of grade two or three when we were told to paint a large white paper black. Then we were instructed to use small bits of  string and soak it in different colours of paint one at a time and lay them on the paper. I had to do it quickly so the string would not stick. This left the spaghetti like strands of colours. Then the teacher who had brought in a couple of toothbrushes and she went over each picture and sprayed the white paint to make it look like a Zillion stars. I was amazed how it came out. Sadly my mum did not like "clutter" having nine children so it went to the garbage when I brought it home.

However when Dad seen it crumpled up in the garbage when  he came home from work he pressed most of the wrinkles out and he was quite pleased and told me to keep up  my art work.biggrin Then it went back in the garbage. But I did not care  his complimenting me was the BEST. At least my mum always gave me credit by saying Dale is the artist in the family.biggrinbiggrinbiggrin

Being just a kid...

Did anyone notice a bright orange star in the sky last night? It shimmered all night and stayed until dawn. I was awakened before the birds were singing about 3a.m. but seeing this star or whatever it was, was worth it.
