What surprises me is the cat staying in the basket instead of jumping out of it.  But maybe he's been doing this since he was a kitten and his housemate a puppy.  Charming photo, though, furr sure. aww

That kitty reminds me of this guy...one of the aliens in "Not of This Earth (1957)

It was one of the first two horror movies I ever saw on a big screen...in Detroit...the summer I turned ten.

The male aliens all wore suits and if they stared at a human, the human would freak out and drop dead. NO EYEBALLS!

Then they'd open up a metal briefcase and take out a pump...stick in a needle...and drain the victim's blood into glass beakers.

Typical Fifties schlock, but I loved it. You never forget your first...or your second.

The first was "Attack of the Crab Monsters"...it was the opener of a Saturday afternoon double feature.

Went with my cousins and my kid sister. She was six. She just about peed in her seat.
