They all look well fed and well cared for.  I just wish folks would adopt them and keep them indoors.

Yes they do look heathy and you can tell many many people enjoy them. Speaking of keeping cats indoors. Well usually come Spring my Sherlock and Alea go out and about coming in a few times a day to check in, eat and get their whiskers rubbed. Suddenly this past June Watson wanted to go out as well. He has been very vocal  this past Winter so in June thus still being so I took him to the Vets but she aid other than being over weight he was in fine condition. So Ed and I talked it over and decided to let Watson out on the porch. He loves it out there in the  sunny spots and napping. Funny thing is he still comes in to use the Litter  box.

One early evening Watson was no where to be seen. So I went around to my neighbor Irene and She told me her next door neighbor had spotted a large orange cat which looked pregnant. She told Irene to watch out for her having kittens any day now. Once I found this out, I at least had an idea of the direction of where he headed. So I walked around the block still no Watson. Ed went out in his truck and drove around that area of the village as he new Watson would know the sound of the Truck. Sure enough Ed was not home ten minutes and along came Watson from Irene's way.

I do not want to lose  any of my cats but they are all so vocal meowing constantly even after being fed and using the litterbox and snuggling.  I have noticed  for about the past year the cats will not lay on the couch or the beds or mats here and there, where they used to nap at one time of day or more. They will lay on the table, stove, counter tops oh and the Tub. Maybe I used the wrong furniture cleaner? It said it was safe for animals. But who knows. Ed is going to get some type of door on the porch so Watson can stay there fur neow. And if Ed is not too speedy doing so, I have only been waiting for four year now. I will put a gate across so he can not get through it or over it. The pain is I will have to go and open and close it for Zoe...hmmph. Maybe I should lean ow to install the doors eh.biggrin

From now on if I adopt another cat it will be just one kitty for Ed and I and she will be a indoor cat.aww

Uni, you and Ed do seem to have your paws full with your children.  Blessings be unto you both and them as well.

I'm very sure that all of us here, given the choice, would keep our beloved, beautiful, and precious "furrs" indoors.  All right, that's not always possible if an adult cat decides to adopt us, but we can always continue to encourage her or him to adopt indoorsiness.

Well, damn, it's getting close to 5 am.  Time for my bedtime snack, then a respectable snooze.  Say g'night, y'all. aww

I tell my kitties, you don't want to go out there, there's monsters out there. And there are. They really don't try so I think they understand at some level.

Two kinds of fresh food twice a day, fresh water, warm, safe, soft places to sleep... Catnip... More toys than I had when I was a kid... :)

Still, it's true, once they get a sniff of the outside it's hard to turn them back.

:/

It's the same with some humans.  They have all the amenities indoor cats have, yet for reasons I'll never understand, they enjoy camping. confuse
