How bad a businessman do you have to run a casino into the ground?

Still, that parade of shops looks quite jolly.

I haven't been to AC since the late 70's. That neighborhood changed a lot. It was boarded up buildings, drugs and hookers back then.

Maybe Donald had the T and the R taken down and hauled to D.C., with plans to have them mounted on the White House's roof, so everyone will understand that Trump Rules. cry

I've never been to Atlantic City, and I grew up in NJ.  All I knew about Atlantic City when I was a kid is that's where the NJ Teachers' Convention was held every November, giving us I think it was the second Thursday and Friday off.  That added to Veterans Day and another 4-day weekend for Thanksgiving made November a very happy month.

As stupid as I consider gambling, I suppose I have to give it credit for completely revitalizing Atlantic City.

Not to mention all the suppliers and contractors he put out of business by failing to pay them.  While the business was run into the ground, Donald personally made out pretty good.  The debts, including some of Donald's personal debts that were shifted to the business, were paid by sucker investors.

The city should tear it down and build more of those little shops. To paraphrase what Boosewell said they are enchanting. awwaww

Far better than that grey monstrosity Trump built.
