A few years before my mother died, we were driving through her childhood neighborhood on the north end of Seattle. She noticed that the library where she had spent much time had been rebuilt at some point. She was a bit sad, but recognized that the need was probably there. I had to tell her, that it had not been rebuilt once since her childhood, but twice.
